At Warrior and Scholar, our main focus in teaching Kenpo Karate is to teach our students that they have choices. They can live each day as a “Warrior” with an attitude of discipline, honor and respect. We teach students more than just how to kick and punch – we help them to develop a positive self-image, training them with discipline and control. Regardless of age, we have seen profound effects from our students as a result of their training in Kenpo Karate. Come and try out a class with us!

The system we teach is based on a Chinese style as developed by the late Ed Parker. Mr. Parker brought the system from Hawaii in the late 1950's and refined it to meet the needs of Americans today. These fast and effective self-defense techniques of the Parker style of Kenpo have a respected reputation worldwide.

“The most significant value gained as a result of my daughter’s Karate training is – CONFIDENCE.”
Al Agnone, 8 year old daughter
“This is an exceptional Karate school. I was an instructor from another school in New Hampshire and I was glad to find a school where I could continue my training. I highly recommend this school.”
CJ Fogarty, adult student
“Warrior and Scholar has brilliant and devoted instructors. I have seen shy children start taking classes and within a few weeks, they begin to show signs of leadership and responsibility. This school teaches children respect, responsibility and courteousness. In addition, Warrior and Scholar is ONE of the most affordable martial arts schools in the area.” S. McArthur
